I think the PAM 177 H is my new favorite

I just got a rep 177 H and love it. I love the Titanium case, looks very industrial and tough. I think I like the 090 and the 270/233 for more dressy occasions but the 177 is my favorite daily wear. I got it from a guy that does Homage marina militare watches, and asked him in private if he does the Pam logos. He does and I got my wife a PVD and like it enough to go back to him and got the 177 swan neck in Ti with a sapphire crystal. There are a couple very small flaws that you know it isn't a gen, but they are small and some are fixable (CG pin).

Me too. I just bought mine so I had a 44mm model for my straps, but since I have it, it gets the most wrist time of all of them:

A 177h is pretty high on my wants list - love the ti look. Probably will be my next but one PAM after a 6154

One of the very few flaws with mine is that if you look at Donerix picture of all the watches, if you look closely at the PVD watch he has there, look at the crown how it is not flush against the case, even with the CG level all the way pressed in. Mine does the same thing. I am assuming he bought his from the same guy I got mine from since he usually puts "Marina Militare" on his watches.

I asked him if it would be fixed and he mentioned that I could cut the Stem shorter, but then I would run into the lever not hitting the crown when it is pushed in. He said he might beable to send me the things I need to fix it. Hopefully we can get it figured out, just odd that he would build them that way.

Anybody fixed these before?

Dang, you guys all made the 177 look great. I thought I would like mine the most, the way I have it set up with the strap, but everyone here has done a great job.

My current set up is 177H with a Greg Straps Design Crazy Horse 2 strap (white stitch) and Strap Works 1860 Decima Brushed buckle. I also like the look of the black stitch straps with this watch as well. This look is so casual and understated but so nice at the same time. The cool thing to me is that it is almost the anti-Rolex. 99.9% of the people in the world have no clue what it is, and the look of it is so low key that people probably wouldn't even look twice, which I like. The whole Rolex thing bugs the crap out of me.

Well, careful. There are a lot of Rollie fans here kook. But that said, I'm with ya.
Never understood the draw for Rolex personally. That's what makes this hobby great though.
Lots of different brands to collect. There's plenty of folks here that don't care for Bell & Ross either
but I love mine. All 3. :p

I know there are plenty of Rolex fans out there, that is what I don't understand. I think most fans of Rolex (gen or rep) usually like Rolex because of everything that goes along with it, if you know what I mean. I guess that is why I like some of the smaller, less known brands like Panerai, IWC, Zenith, etc... 99% of the people out there have no clue what they are and I like it that way.

Yep, that's about as close as you can hope to get from a dealer.

Davidsen for a higher quality Rep.

I am actually surprised that the CG doesn't fit better on the case and also the Panerai logo on the movement isn't as good as I would think either. Looks about like mine, but mine was just over $100, but my CG fits much better. Mine of course doesn't have the flush cannon pin or CG pin (but that one is an easy fix).

Yep, you just can't get this one out of the box as close as I would want personally.
That's why when I saw the one I bought from a friend, I snatched it up quick.
You may want to do the same.
