The Chinese character ?(Fu) symbolizes fortune.

This character is very important for the chinese and all ethic Chinese as it means having good fortune wherever you goes. By the way, this is a Gen belonging to a friend. You can look at the crown spacing:)

The Lume is a milk tea color, what we call dirty Lume. Similar to what 359 has and slightly lighter than the 360.

I actually like it very much! I'm not sure, though, if I'd buy it as having a Chinese character on a Swiss/Italian watch may make it look like a Chinese-made rep even if it's a gen.

as the world toppled into financial ruin.
china + asia singledhandedly saved the swiss watch industry.
too much money pouring out from their sides i believe...

Hence the reason why they'd happily pander to the Chinese with a "Fu" custom.
I'm surprised more brands haven't yet done it.

From Watchtime mag, if I recall correctly, Asia as a whole accounted for about half of all Gen sales in the past few years... China/HK/Asia have been leaping and bounding up the charts of "who buys the most".
I'm not certain I'd call it "Pandering", but I can certainly understand why the Gen companies would release watches which would appeal to the Asian market.

There was a short article in the most recent issue discussing the shrinking case size and lesser use of yellow gold versus rose gold as direct nods to Asian sensibilities.

All their hardwork paid off in the end. I guess being the Mexico of the world wasn't a necessarily a bad thing. I'm just happy they finally have money to push for a greener country.

After watching manufactured landscapes I felt bad for many of their villages that is getting wrongfully polluted and taken advantage of.
