Please don't beat me up over this question. I have what I believe is a model 002. It's a great watch, I like the uncluttered face, it does one thing for me, tells me the time. What I don't like is it being a manual wind movement.

I've read through Ale's wonderful works on here and visited TD's sites to find the same watch face with an auto wind movement. My head is spinning, can anyone direct me to a model with this style face and an auto movement?

Thank you, Phil

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
Hey Phil - I think you are out of luck. As soon as they put an auto in it, they start adding things like seconds at 9 and date. Then to take the dial clutterization a step further, they add the "Automatic" line of text.
As said, your best bet is the 560 (even though it's not an auto) - the rep won't last 8 days, but it will keep ticking considerably longer than your 002

Nice to hear from you Phil my friend
Unfortunately there is no watch meeting your requirements
Automatic PAMs always have some additions like seconds, power reserve or date
All the best

Thank you all for your kind replies. Now just to decide what one to go for.

I have to confess that before I joined this fine Forum I'd never heard of Panerai, but the more I look at them the more I like (desire) them.

Thank you again, Phil.
