I want to buy several sets of 24mm strap tubes for my various straps so I can leave them in place between changes.

It makes *a* difference. There was a big thread about tubes a few months ago. Some people like them and think they are worth it, some people don't like them.
Personally I prefer tubes or using River's/DSN's springbars (the springbars give the same "feel" as using tubes). The best thing to do is to buy a set and try them out! :wink:

one other solution is to do it yourself, like me, you can use a telescopic antena for radio and cut 24mm parts;
