i made a major mistake, i sold something on here and totally forgot about it for almost 3 months, it was a anf buckle + 2 rubber straps, how could i make this right? i think the sale ended up being $115 will a gen breitling travel box or a $40 refound + shipping it out be enugh? or should i 100% refound it and also send it out? id like some input here as i do not want my reputation on the forum being damaged.. any sugestions are aprecheated greatly

What does the buyer say? Ask him if he wants a refund or the merchandise. Work a deal out with him.

he is not online, my heart droped when i saw his message he was understandebly really pissed over my behavior but ive had shit happen in my personal life and i neglected the forum for a long time as i had more important things to take care of.. i feel like a total shithead and i really dont want to be thoght of as a scammer and have no trust on the forum..

I don’t see the question on how much of a refund. You need to 100% refund as it’s theft without doing that.

if you want to send the original or something else is based on your ability to eat your mistake. It’s morally ok if you just can’t. But if it bothers you for real, you need to find a way to make it right.

Bad things happen. It’s ok. But how you act now, defines your character.

Mistakes happen, contact the buyer and explain your situation. I'm sure he'll understand and work with you on an amicable solution (you can always later decide if you wish to add something to the shipment or refund him part of his money).

OP in your case. Try to contact him and asked what he thinks of your offer and ask what he thinks is reasonable.

But weren't you contacted by a moderator? Ask him.
No moderator involved, try contacting the sales mod that approved your sale.
