I Love the historical Manual Winding but...........

.....I really like the Submersible.For me , the watches of Officine Panerai are just manual winding.
But I'll have to settle for the Submersible....:whistling:
I'd like PAM model 616 Carbotech , and I've read a decent review.
I know that the best is the model 243 , but I would like a "BLACK" on my wrist. Some advice about..........?
Rest on the classic 243 , or I'll jump on the purchase of 616......? :dry:

Yup, 508 has the looks of the 243. 616 is no Panerai in my opinion. It's a try, but that's it. The Carbotech feels like shit.

The carbon case of the 616 is very fragile. The horns break very easy at the spring bar holes.

Would love to see a DLC (Good Quality) 243 or possibly 571. I see them that people have had coated themselves. Would be nice to see a high quality rep with that option.

.. historical manual windings are really the only models that have been super repped. Automatics are lesser quality (and for lazy sods who cannot summon 30 seconds of winding at the breakfast table, LOL). I am all for and enthusiastic for the OOO, 111, 112 177, 178, 380, 292s of the world.

I too think like you.....:laugh:
I'm Italian , and Officine Panerai are a pride for my Country.
The Panerai watches are born for the army , and have always been manual winding.
In fact I just bought a PAM 005 Logo and a Pam 346 manual winding 28.800 A/h...
I wait the Tracking from Ryan.
But the Submersible is only created with automatic winding.
I've to accept that.
It would have been wonderful to have a Submersible manual winding......:blush:
But it's a impossible thing....

So, if I wanted a Submersible , the one most similar to gen , I should buy a 243 and don't buy a "Black" , if I've read good the PAM Guide....but the 508 i'ts a super rep.
Or the model 508 can be considered almost like the 243......?:dry:
In the end , I prefer a better "achieved" watch , that wearing a "Black" with major flaws or case problems.
What do you think Buddy's.....?

This is another very very nice Submersible.....:callme:
The Tritium version is charming for very Vintage style.
But I would prefer the "modern version".
Anyway , I'll do it a serious thought.
