I wanted to start a positive thread about the SA3135 since there is So much bashing going on.

I love my SA3135 Rolesium because...

The watch rocks
The dial rocks
The weight rocks
The movement keeps +4
The lume is very good
It's a Killer Watch indeed
and finally I DONT INTEND TO MOD IT.....

This made me smile. I really want my watch to be up to my expectations. Hopefully, everything goes well when I get it later this week.

No bashing intended, but in the case a repair part is needed for the movement where would one source it? Genuine question here.

Agreed. Lots of potential with this movement. Plus getting them to stand behind the 3135 if there is a problem is very important.

So far, I feel this SA3135 movt is good. As what Txrrob779 says. It has not failed me.. Keep's good time, only the sweetspot thing but no moving of hands when push back like bibi 's problem.

Same here..the bashing seems to be carried too far..sure we all have settled on high expectations of ETA movements and fantastic reps by H and Noob factories..

But these are reps nonetheless, in case anyone overlooks this fact..a rep will always be a rep..it is the pursuit of improving the rep to gen status and reliability that makes this hobby and forum what it is..

I love my YM for all of the points that Rob made..am i looking to mod this rep? Well if i ever do get the chance to, i would go for it..

That said, the maker of the movement will only stand to benefit from improving the robustness of the movement..it is already a good step taken forward..

Just got it in. As far as I'm concerned, this thing is gen. It's so close, it's f'ing scary. As far as the mov't, everything feels good. I don't have any "sweet spot" issue like some people are claiming. The time changes fine, and doesn't move when I push the crown in. I have no issues adjusting the date either, plus the rotor was so silent I thought there was a problem at first. I don't think the word yacht-master being lighter in color is enough of an issue to replace with a gen dial. This watch is incredible!

Enjoy the watch...and trust me..you'll be sneaking peeks at the dial whenever you possibly can just so you can see the sparkle on it.. :p
