Extremely cool technology.
I've seen a similar PC based device make prototypes. It's fascinating stuff. The amount of time that it takes now to get something that's cast or molded to market is potentially a few months versus what used to be closer to a year or longer.

I've been working with this technology recently - and it is coming on in leaps and bounds. Its developing faster than people can think of applications.

I just found out that we have one of these printers on campus. i would love a black plastic pam. or a red case that i could make into a STL Cards homage watch. that would be cool
