I feel like Puretime is scamming me.

I purchased a Clean Batman at the beginning of October last year from Puretime, and until now, no QC, nothing. I see people posting their Clean Batman QC pics almost every week on Reddit. Puretime told me they don't even know when they are going to get the watch from Clean. Are any of you experiencing the same wait time with Clean watches? It's been more than 5 months and I want to know if Puretime is holding my money hostage.

5 months sounds like a long time though, but then again you never know in this hobby - sometimes it just takes a long time to source the watch.

5 months is a long wait, I think @hpham1991 is very patient customer and him feeling neglected is understandable.
I would suggest that you get your batman GMT in M2M as there are plenty of them for sale and change your PT order to something else.

I’ personally am expecting a wait like that. I rationalize it by acknowledging the fact that even gens can take months and months to arrive so I’m getting a very realistic rep along with a wait realistic to the gen. We will see how long my patience lasts.

It's a long wait indeed, but it's not the reason to hint at scamming, as per thread title.

Puretime gave a reason, plus the option to cancel and refund.

Yes I agree that there is no scam going on and puretime has been communicating with OP all along and OP just frustrated I guess, that's why my suggestion is to go the M2M route.
