I can't believe it!!

Hey guys,

I can't believe it! Just when I was starting to get my heart rate down from the earlier excitement in the morning when my AP ROO MH came in(earlier post), there was a knock on the door and a package was delivered.

It was the 127 I had bought from another member! It was shipped out on Tuesday from Singapore and I wasn't expecting it until next week. Specially since there was a problem with the tracking. I thought it was still stuck in Singapore. Two days! WOW!! Psychospike is a great member to buy from!

Two watches coming in in one day...from different members. I love it!

It's my first 127 and it is really beautiful!!! The simple elegance is stunning!

Thats a stunner. I don't know about anyone else, but if like me, I never really liked, or even contemplated getting a pam, but the more, and more I see the eye candy from other members posting what they receive, they sure are growing on me.

PAM's are very much an acquired taste I think. Three months ago I'd never even considered a PAM - and now my third is on the way. Who would've thunk...

Actually, even though I had several Pams already, I NEVER considered a 127. Frankly, whenI would see all the pictures on the threads...I found then ugly!

Then, I had the good fortune to meet another member who showed me his super franken 127. I was breathless!

Then, someone had lent me a 217 on a passaround. Again, I found it unappealing. But, after wearing it fr a couple of days, it just grew on me.

So, on the fourth day(of the passaround), I bought this one!

I know find the 127 to be such an elegant and stately watch....

I never really like the 127 but it is a real mans watch, but alas there is no way in hell I could pull off a 20k watch not on my wage anyway.

I thought Pam's were just big and ugly too 3-4 months ago. Now I have 4 of which 3 I picked up in the past 6 weeks and am waiting on my 5th.
I had never even HEARD of panerai when I joined this forum.......now I've easily spent over 1k on them and the end is nowhere in sight!
