Hey guys, looking for some advice on my first pam.. like title says undecided between 111 and 1359. In terms of best rep 1:1 which one is the best? Any dealer recommendations ? Thanks!!

So you've asked the question and twice you've been told the PAM111 yet you're holding out on the PAM1359. I think you're waiting for someone to validate your PAM1359 decision. The PAM1359, while nicely made, cannot beat the PAM111 in terms of accuracy. The movement is the main difference. The one in the PAM111 is an almost exact copy of the gen modified ETA 6497-2 movement. The one on the PAM1359 is just an A7750 covered with decorative plates to make it look like a P.9010.
So if it's a question of accuracy, get the PAM111 V4, if you're willing to shell out a few more dollars and get the absolute best, get it from BK or Marlin. But if you really want the PAM1359, it's not a bad choice.

Straps - buy them all, Andrea is great but more vintage - elevate your Pam- go find Steve...

MVMT services are easy- adding gen 6497 are easy- But add the crystal... Now your talkin... on the noob Iv It doesn’t require new lume - like sooo many other reps...

It's like choosing between an engine tune-up or getting a new paint job. The former normally cannot be seen by anybody else but the latter will certainly get attention at first glance. But of course, getting a tuneup later is always recommended. :lol:
