Intrigued to see what others are getting on the VSF Omega Seamaster SMP 300. I'm losing 7 seconds a day by the looks of things, doesn't seem too bad right?

I'd love to hear about what the longevity for the VSF SMP 300 has been like for everyone. Has yours lasted more than two years? If it's still running reasonably well (and the ones mentioned above appear to be) after two years then I'd say it has been a good buy. Are there any more long-term owners out there?

Mine is 8 months, and it keeps perfect time. Runs little fast when on hand, loses little time when lies on nightstand. Dont have to correct it at all.

Mine is about 2 yrs old non-serviced, runs plus/minus 5sec/day. As good as most of my gens- really happy with that rep.

Mine have always ran well. They are very willing when it comes to regulation. Mine have always been easily regulated.

The only one I had much of an issue was my VSF NTTD. But that was remedied by a new 2824 clone movement.

So are these just eta 2824 with a deco plate or are they eta 2824 with custom top bridges ?
I prefer to swap a Gen eta in it

Just checked and I bought mine 4 years ago, never been serviced and it's still running like a champ!
When it finally conks out ill swap in a new movement and maybe have a go at tackling the yellow lume

I just received mine yesterday. After the first 24 hours, it's running +3s. Good start!

I'm impressed with the look and feel of the watch. The bracelet is a little more jangly than a real Omega bracelet. Winding is obviously louder than a real Omega. And the bezel action isn't great. I'm fine with all of these things. For a watch that I imagine is difficult to replicate, this VSF will do just fine. I'll try to keep this thread updated with any changes in performance.

UPDATE: I've had the watch for a month now. It continues to run well - about +2 seconds / day on the wrist.

UDPATE: It has been almost 5 months of ownership and the watch is still running well. About +2 to +4 seconds/day, depending on how long I wear it each day. The accuracy is better if I wear it all day. I'm still curious about the long-term viability and would love to hear from those of you who have had yours for a longer time.

About 6 months now worn daily, runs great. No crown issues. These are dead easy to regulate yourselves if you're that fussed, I did when I first got it. -3s/d on the wrist, it was perfect on the bench when I had the back off.
