Word...

It´s kind of funny when you SPECIFICALLY notify UPS that NO ONE will be at lets say, work BEFORE 09.00 AM and when you get there there´s a note saying "we tried to deliver a package at 08.52 and no one opended so contact us or visit our pickup place located in bumblefuck. Thank you for your understanding"

God I hate UPS...

At least UPS leaves a note.

I just wish my USPS mailman was not such a douche. I was waiting for a Lum-tec to be returned to me and had to call lum-tec to track the package. Lum-tec tells me its sitting at the post office and the mailman made 2 attempts at delivery. No note was left and I had been off for a few days, so there was no knocking either. I called up the post office and bitch them out. So the next day, another mailman calls me to make sure I was home and drives up in a van to deliver the package. Guess my regular mailman didn't want to get bitched out.

UPS is especially bad, they are my worst nightmare. When someone says "I'll ship via UPS" it goes wrong ever so often. Actually I am waiting for an UPS next day package that was supposed to be here two days ago and nobody there has a clue. F*ck UPS

"Well, Mr. Green, we tried twice yesterday, and no one was available to take the package."
"Bullshit. I was home all day!"
"Well, sorry about that sir. Would you like us to re-attempt delivery?"
"YES!! I want my watch! When can you guys come out?"
"Well, we can't be there today, but....(evil chuckle)....We can have a driver there tomorrow, between 10 a.m. and...Tuesday. Will you be home?"
(sigh)"Yeah, probably."

People complain about every carrier. I worked at Fedex corporate management for 10 years and I've heard it all. Every carrier has flaws. The average delivery driver makes between 150-250 stops/deliveries per day. Yet people want to setup a 15 minute window for when they will be home. Imagine if half of the deliveries for the day demanded that ? I once had a complaint come across my desk for a lady who sent 3 letters and an email. Her driver showed up and woke her up. She demanded an apology and wanted to know why we were delivering so early. The driver attempted to deliver beer box at 10:45 am. Upon contacting her she told me she had been partying all night and was " trying to recuperate.

So you see, there are problems on both sides.

Hell, an attempted delivery is better than none I suppose.

Living in Yokohama, Japan, and getting things to an FPO/APO address within any reasonable time frame is not gonna happen with "standard" Postal delivery.

See the problem with Postal standard delivery is this. I ordered something and the seller offered free delivery, problem is, it's free standard delivery to FPO/APO only so low and behold the seller actually ships it the next day after payment. And the tracking shows it at the post office for follow on destination.
Here is where the problem is, because it's standard, and because it's going FPO/APO, my package has been sitting in a postal warehouse since Feb 16 just collecting dust on a "space A" delivery status and now it's March 15 and I still don't have my package.!!

MOTHERF**KERS!!! it's a damn box no bigger than a 6"x6"x6", not a F**CKIN M1-Abrams tank you stupid F**CKTARDS!!

Needless to say, I can't blame the seller, only the post office, and will they care or change? Nope!!

So lesson learned, if it's free standard shipping and not free priority mail, I will never ship free standard again. NEVER!
I will gladly pay the difference or upgrade.

Okay, I'm gonna go have some radioactive sushi now...

I'm not talking about retarded customers here :)

I've had my share of lazy delivery drivers, but UPS was really constantly the worst. There are few examples when UPS works for me as instructed. And very often, when they come, they come in pairs. This is just too funny.
