I just picked up a PAM341 from Puretime.

It has the Asian UNITAS-6497 hand-winding movement in it.

I've set the time and tried to shake it to get it moving, but the movement keeps stalling.

Any idea how to wind this beast? Is there a way to wind this that I don't know how to?

BTW. 60mm was WAY BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT.

Hand winding means you have to manually wind the crown. Shaking it only moves the wheel, hence the second hand may move a little. Only hand winding it will store up the power reserve.

I've wounded it but the timing is off. Maybe that's what I get with the cheaper version of the watch...

My noob PAM 127 with Asian UNITA 6947-2 gives 54 hours fully wind.
Takes about 30 rounds to wind this machine.

Haha yeah man, 60mm is fuckin massive, anyone coulda told you that! :D

Anyway, you need to wind it clockwise (With the dial facing you) until you can't wind it any further. Just wind it for a while (Because of the crown guard getting in your way it takes a lot of turns) and eventually you will feel it resist heaps. You're done winding and it should last easily 40 hours, closer to 50, some of them even get above that as Leewei said. I think mine was 46 or 48 on a full wind.

Yeah I got it wound finally and it's working.

It seemed to be a little off at first about 15-20 minutes at a time... but after adjusting a few times it seems to be fine now. On time since last night.

it's huge but I'm slowly getting used to it. I get a lot of attention with it haha.

And here she is...
