How to wind my new PAM Bronzo?

I'm a happy owner of a Bronzo 382 that I just picked up from a fellow member. I've read somewhere that on an automatic watch that setting time, winding, or date when the hands are in a certain position is problematic and can lead to early failure. Does anyone have any FACTUAL info or tips on what I should or shouldn't do when making changes? I don't use an autowinder, and swap amongst my collection fairly often, so the watch will often be dead if not worn every day. Any thoughts appreciated...

There are sections here dedicated to specific movements. I would start there. Here is some light reading to get you going.

https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/the-7750-7753/70994-user-guide-to-the-a7750-movement

That's assuming the Bronzo has the A7750 movement. Depending on the purchase date of the original owner, it may have the A7750 movement, the P.9000 clone movement, or the P.9000 superclone movement. This can be confirmed by first the location of the balance wheel (A7750 - @11, P.9000 clone - @7, P.9000 superclone - @7) then by the function (quick date set/no independent hour hand movement - A7750, P.9000 clone, no quick date set/independent hour hand - P.9000 superclone).

Winding
No special instruction for all movements; give it around 10 winds until the second hand starts moving

Time setting
No special instruction for all movements; pull out crown to 2nd position to change time.

Date setting:
A7750
Do not change the datewhen the time is between 10PM and 2AM, the date change mechanism is engaged and if you do it, you may damage this part.
Proper procedure
1. Change the time by pulling out the crown to the 2nd position and change the time to 6AM (just after the date has changed).
2. Put the crown into the 1st position. Change the date to the desired date.

P.9000 clone
Use the same procedure as the A7750

P.9000 superclone
1, Pull out the crown to the 1st position. Then move the hour hand until the date changes to the desired date. It may seem too much of a hassle but that's the same with the gen movement.

Great info!

So for the date setting on A7750, when you say set to 6am, do you mean to wind through the remaining hours of the day until the date flips then go to 6a? Or simply set it to 6, then move crown to first position to adjust date?

Thanks all for the comments! My watch is a VS factory v2 according to seller. I think it is a P9000 Superclone, but I don't know. Hell...I don't even know what a balance wheel is. I can tell time :). Any ideas what engine is driving this watch? And...what happens to the watch if I don't follow the "rules"?

If you are able to change date through advancing hour hand that means it’s a super-clone which VS v2 is.
No rules apply to that movement.
it’s a very good movement. Enjoy you watch.

The date changes when I turn the crown with the minutes and hour hand moving. Is that what you mean?
thanks!

Well you can either way, it depends on how you want to do it. Personally I just move the hour hand to 6 never checking if the date changes, change the date to one day before the actual date and then just adjust the time until I get to the correct time and date. Worst case scenario I just need to move the hour hand less than one rotation of the dial.

thanks!

Can you move only the hour hand until it changes the date and the minute hand stays in position?

see if you can move just hour hand.
You need to pull crown to the 1st position then rotate it, hour hand should move independently, minute hand should stand still.

Thanks again to everyone who gave advice and comments! Based on the info everyone provided, I have determined that my watch is indeed a P.9000 Superclone movement and hour hand can move independently. It does seem like it is a bit cumbersome changing the date, but I gotta tell you...I LOVE this watch!!! Can't quit looking at it. I was planning on doing some patina to it, but based on how it seems to be changing with me doing nothing other than wearing, I'm going to leave it for awhile.

Patina is a natural reaction, although you can move it along or even get a different look with a lot of techniques. Enjoy the watch! :)
