How to remove tube on raffles case? 16000

I bought a new crown + tube.
These come with treading but the raffles tube doesn’t have this.





How do i remove the raffles tube, do i just go to town with a set of pliers?

Remove the oring inside
Insert a square needle file
Twist

Voila

That said, i would remove the movement and dial first. This will give you more leverage to twist and also avoid fine metal particles getting into the movement

I will watch this closely since I want to attempt it on a scrap case. I will get that tool my old one has no attachments. They got lost.
