I was reading up and following the guide from:

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/...-23399?t=23399&highlight=remove+7750+movement

I removed all the relevent screws but it seems that the movement is 'floating' inside the watch... I can't get it out but I can twist it about etc... If you have a look at the picture it shows that... I looked in the images and it seems that the movment should just DROP out... I don't want to force it out so any ideas ?

May I ask WHY you are doing this?

I've seen this type of thing end very badly on far more than one occasion.

I wanted to put the hands back into where it should be and I can't find a rep in UK so bought some tools to do it myself

I can't really answer tour question, so I don't want my comment to come off as a pain, but seriously - these are delicate little machines - especially the 36.... Cool that you want to give it a go, but you'll end up with a damaged pile of parts with mashed screw-heads with fingerprints where they shouldn't be at best... It may even be worse...

Why not buy a sub $100 21j to start with and move up from there? I'm sure you're capable, but baby steps...

The mvt in my HBB V 1 lite was really hard to get out. It was loosened allright, but just the fit between case and mvt holder was so snug, I had to work it really carefully out.
Might be a different matter here though...?

OK thanks for your replies... I'll put the watch back together... But I can't find any UK rep friendly smith... I would like to get it fixed though... I'm going to HK next week. Any ideas if there are any good watchsmith there whom can reposition my watch hands ?

Having a rep fixed has been a nightmare for me, i feel like i own the most "in house" exclusive movement in the world. I have someone working on it and he recently told me that he couldn't properly remove the hands on my watch because they were glued together with EPOXY.
Now why would they do that? :lolcina:

The movement isn't removed via the back opening of the watch, but rather the face. What you need to do is use a jewelers prying tool under the lip of the bezel, the bezel and glass will just pop off. To re attached, it just gets pushed on with lots of pressure. That's all there is to it, but be careful not to scratch the case.

Oh, so in this case, I need to open the watch from the front ? I guess I need to take the bezel off and then BOTH the tachymeter and glass should come off right ? But How would I reattach it ?
