1) Buy from a trusted source. Probably the best way.
2) Look at the serial code/clasp
3) Do research. Many models have minute differences that you just have to learn and compare pictures with. Such as printing, bezel, font, sunburst, dial color, etc.

The last advice doesn't depend on Rolex :

4) Depending on the model there are only certain factories that make the model so it basically is a instant tell. For example, Tudor FXD is only made by 1 factory, M+, so it's very obvious.

Long story short there is no "quick" and "easy" way to know. You have to do your research and be well versed in the replica game.

Clean Daytonas advertised on TD sites have a M5X clasp code, so that seems like a good guess.

Did you buy it from a Trusted Dealer ? If so what's the issue ?
No, and there is no other issue than some says the dealer I bought from has a rep of not delivering what he says he does. But I only learned that after the deal was made.

You bought from a non TD to save money, but you didn't know what you were buying, so you used us, the forum, our experience, for free, to provide you TD service instead.

The markup on TDs is the safety of mind and resolution platform.

If you use non TD you should be experienced and know what you are buying instead of leaching off the kindness and knowledge of members here.

And if you don't need us, then do your own damn research about the 126500 Daytona instead.
