How to change strap on 1661 Carbotech?

Before I break my new rep, I figured it would be wise to ask. The 1661 does not have a "magic button" on the back, and it does not have a threaded screw in the lugs like other models I'm familiar with. The lugs are drilled through, so I assume there's a spring bar inside. Is it as simple as inserting the "pusher" end of a spring bar tool into the hole in the lug to compress the spring bar and remove the strap, or is there a special procedure that eludes me?

Please forgive this novice question from a Pam noob!

Avoid damaging the lugs/case, you may try using a piece of dental floss to [pry] the springbar out
