Sothebys and confirmed its authenticity and we also went directly to Panerai and had them authenticate the watch personally so don't ever contact us again. God bless you Maurice[/h]

"We contacted Panerai a couple of days ago before we listed our watch. The back mechanisms appeared to look like a high carat gold and there was the numbers 7750 which could also stand for 18k gold. We wanted to know if it was 18k gold so we talked with Panerai for two different days on the watch and than their expert stated that it was high polished brass and not 18k gold. They also stated it was a model # 111. We posted their email in the photos we put on the auction. We work extremely hard on our items before we list them. Everything we sell is 100 per cent guaranteed."

Replied -

"It is a 111 and thats exactly what Panerai told me. We saw the steel back 111 and thats the first reason we went to Panerai. According to their expert there was a few with the high polish brass but they didn't explain as to how many. They just said the H0035/2000 which is ours had the high polished brass wheel on the back. Thats all i know and like we stated Sotheby's had this watch at their auction and when they charged us 1500.00 to get our Rolex back we requested for them to send our Panerai back. God bless"

Maurice Lewis was also arrested in March for burglarizing a Joshua Tree home while dressed in women’s clothing, wearing a mask and carrying a samurai sword.​
