How risky is it to order a PAM rep that was issued 2+ years ago?

Hi there,

I've been wondering about how risky it is to order a PAM rep that was issued around 2 years ago. I'm speculative as to whether, for example, if the watch has run out of stock for quite some time, the TD might order from a factory that may not produce the rep at the same quality as it did when they issued that particular version originally.

If anything, it would have all of the improvements from that time on forward. It should................. I would not worry since you will check the QC pictures too, right ? Go ahead and order it.

I don't see the problem here mate, just ask your dealer for the model you want.
Makers produce a new batch when the old batch is sold, so it's hard to get an outdated model IMHO. :)

There is also the other side of the coin. Makers do not produce any more watches after the existing batch is sold. That's happened to quite a few PAMs. But providing the exact PAM model would help. ;)

The risk is it might have better lume than some newer ones and maybe be cheaper. Just go ahead, which model is it?

Need the model, but should be fine as long as its not a highly discussed discontinued model...

Thanks all. I've been contemplating on the 114 recently as the 561's movement positioning isn't so great at the moment. Just realized that the latest version of the 114 rep isn't so old yet (only 1 year) so I guess i shouldn't be worried so much!
