Hi I am old to this forum but I lost all my old email and login details coz I didn't use to keep the details but recently I decided to buy some rep watches and this is my new account...I wanted to share some images claiming the thickness of the watch how some dealers are manipulating things ...hope anyone can tell me the exact image which one is correct

I don't understand what this is supposed to be.

If it's about the different measured thickness of the watches: These are plastic tip calipers. These things are relatively flexible, unlike steel. I have one at home myself. If I measure the same watch three times, I get three different results.

#2 is almost correct

one should take a reading then let the calipers relax , hands off , with no pressure

The above image of aquanaut is told by the dealer that it's 3k V4 and he sent me the measurements of the thickness which I was satisfied as it's 8.1mm but later with the packing he sent me the same watch image with packing and that to has 8.1mm and when I see the lines on the calibre it's clearly different,I hope you can make out the difference

I am sorry but I use these measuring tools for diamonds and gem stones and there's no difference

And also I ordered ap zf 16202 and I was supposed to get the thin 8.1mm watch but while QC it's 9.1 mm and later I replaced it to ap zf 15202 and now it's 8.8mm but I hope to get a thin 8.1 mm watch if anyone can help me find that

i see what you are saying but there is a (nearly) accurate way of doing that mesurement with the bag and that would be to measure the bag thickness , then zero the calipers, then measure the thickness of the watch thru the bag , much like setting a tare weight on scale for the packaging weight

Exactly if you tare the scale with something and then show the thickness it's wrong right
