Hi all, came across this while searching for watches.

Not sure if it has been posted, but I've been on a rampage on pams lately :D

Damn those pam bugs.

Wow, very nice video. Thanks for sharing. But I don't though a robot do the most work at the movements. [emoji15]

Watching these videos make me just wanna cough up and buy then. The level of detail is just something these reps would never have.

Ya I'm glad I only buy rep Pams. Does not matter to me if its a machine in china or in Switzerland, now if it was a 70 year old swiss guy doing it all by hand i'd be more then happy to buy it. but there is just way to much machine here even the oiling. But i guess all the large producers are like this. Just my opinion

depends, vintage pams are worth alot due to age etc.

besides, even for watch houses like rolex, they too use machines for various parts.

a malte tourbillon from vacheron takes about 4 months to build, a hand made watch from switzerland costs upwards of $50,000 which might take one year to build,
price-wise, its from the price of an entry level pam.

having said that, i appreciate the pams for the style they created, its a one which can be worn on both formal and informal occasions unlike hand-made ones from reknowned watchmakers like phillpe dufour
