Omega Seamaster 300 Chrono or Omega Seamaster 300M Bond? I would say for the first one yes it is worth it no questions asked. Servicing the movment can cost a lot, but refurbished it is worth 2K. For the second one if running good it is worth it. If the dial needs replace maybe not such a great deal.

1164 movment missed that detail yest it is good deal if it has all links they are expensive and rare. You need a dial let me know I have one that is vintage in great shape.

as long as omega will still accept it (granting you will bear the cost of restoration which is a tad bit high) it will be all worth it, yes it is a rare bird, I'd go for it;
hell when I see this watch all I can remember is one man named chuck maddox;
