Hey,

so in my battle of which Pam to get; the 312 or the 351, I'd like to know if anyone is aware of how much the 351 weighs? I know the 312 weighs in at 160g without strap, could someone weigh their 351?

Much appreciated as always!

yep my KW 351 weights 122grams with the brown croc strap

its about 102-103 without

also i think a forum member did an exact review of the 312 v 351 and weighed both, from memory it was 103g for the 351 and 133g for the 312
anyway i can confirm :)

hope this helps

I honestly think that weight is not a decisive factor to take this decision, there are more important differences
Maybe colour of case, colour of dials, SS vs. Golden hands, scratches resistance... but weight?
IMO you should bear in mind other factors to make the choice

But as almost always it is a taste matter.
Just my opinion

Quite honestly I like both so much it does start coming down to the small things! I like to feel my watch on my wrist, so as everyone states the 351 is "so light" I was worried it may be TOO light in which case I'd prefer a weightier watch. But 100g is as much as my Spewdmaster Pro which I like the weight of so are still good choices. I think eventually I'd have to get the 312, as I know what I'm getting. It's so hard to tell what the 351 looks like from pictures and I don't have a Panerai dealership anywhere near me to go and look at one.

Plus it seems a little harder to match straps to the dial color on the 351, as opposed to the 312 which basically will accept any strap you throw at it!

Leaving aside weight (about 25-30% more)

For a first PAM replica I would recommend you PAM 312, more accurate (being more simple), less prone to scratches, and easier to match with straps and clothes

Maybe this will help...both are Kuvarsit watches (312 and 351)
Weight is in grams

Legend thank you mate. So really the titanium case isn't THAT much lighter! Especially for how much more prone to scratches it is. Thanks Ale I think you're right there, the Pam 312 will almost definitely be my first pam.
