Strange things, these 2497 movements. My Swiss 2947s are quite predictable.. somewhere around 50 winds from dead to full wind.
My Asian copy 6947s vary. Some need the regulation 50 winds.. but a couple take 150... yes, 150... turns of the crown to achive full wind.
Which can be pretty tedious, first thing in the morning.
But don't worry.. you will not overwind your watch. Keep turning the crown until it tells you that it is time to stop turning. Then... stop.
