Today I looked at my PAM111 and wondered how many parts a factory need to rep a easy watch like a 111?

so I've disassembled my noob V3 just to count all the parts.

Let's start with the case.

The case construction is build with 21 parts, including the CG and the crystal.

The dial, hands, strap and buckle are 13 parts

And now the 6497 movement. Everybody knows the 6497 is one of the easiest movements to rep and its build with just 69 parts

And to answer the question, the rep factory need exactly 103 parts to rep a PAM111 with an 6497 movement.
Less then I have expected.

Great info. Thanks for sharing. How long did it take you to do this complete tear down. Looks very complicated

How are the stem and crown connected? I hope the answer is not glue!

Very cool. Did you go through all that work just to count the parts or do you plan a mod or Franken build?

Thanks for all the kind words.

To be honest, I need not more than 15 minutes to teardown the whole watch, but reassembling is a different story....that will take 1-1.5h

I just did it for fun and counting the parts.

Very informative. Thanks for posting this. I think I might be able to disassemble a 111 but reassembly would be a disaster.

You should have made the video of doing the whole thing. Maybe next time [emoji3]
