How long will lume glow?

I was wondering how long the lume should glow (in minutes) on average with a full charge? I have a new DSN 111h and the lume is pretty good, but only lasts about 15 minutes. Does the VAC lume glow longer? Brighter? Does it cost alot to have VAC re-lume?

Vac Lume is the best you can get. My Vac sandwich dials will glow all night.

or self lume with c3, mine last all night too. But remember, 10 min it glows let a torch, then lume will fade fast.. this is true even for vac's lume

Lume advice

Thank you all for your comments. The reason I asked the question, is because I am going to VAC do some work on the watch and I was wondering if the lume job would be worth it. My genuine Breitling Chrono Seawolf only glows about 15 minutes and I paid +$3K.

Sandwich dial? Buy some lume from Glowinc and do it your self. Nothing hard about lumeing a sandwich dial, no steady hand needed.

I installed a DSN dial/handset in a 111h recently. I wore it last night, went to bed around midnight, woke up at 5.30 am and could still clearly tell the time in the dark. This was after wearing it around the house and without purposely charging it...

Unless you are doing it yourself, or are paying for a good quality lume job from one of the top tier rep guys -- do not have high expectations for lume brightness or longevity. Standard MM fare lume is barely visible, and lasts maybe 10 minutes.

I'm tempted to try my own lume work on some of my other watches as I grow my collection.

I dunknow about ten minutes. I can read my Blue Surf after 7+ hrs of darkness. Can't ask for much more than that.

With a DSN dial, you should be able to read the watch all night...
