How large strap do I need on my 177L for a 8,2", (21cm), wrist?

I´ve got a 177L inbound, and I´m going to buy a leather strap for it.
My concern is how large strap I need.
My wrist is 8,2", or 21cm. Is 130/80 a good size?

I have a 7" wrist and the 125/75 strap i am on the second hole. so for a 8.2 wrist i think a 130/80 or a 135/80 should suffice.

I have an 8" wrist, and my most comfortable strap is a 140/80 Gunny 2010!

I have a 7.5" wrist and I wear 130/85. For you I would go with 140/95 or so, at least.

Thanks.
In which hole do you use it?

Second when I want it tight, third for a loose fit (I vary...)

BTW I like the Amaretto minimal stitch I bought in december so much, that I asked Peter to make me a black on with OP blue minimal stitch....

I have a 7" wrist and like 135x80. With the short side at 80mm the buckle is more centered on the bottom of my wrist, I like that. For your wrist I would think a short side between 85-95 will be great. 130-145 on the long side will fit well together. Just depends on how much 'tail' you like after the keepers.

It needs to be as big as the strap can go with a wrist our size. A 130/80 will fit but you won't have a large amount of strap hanging free.

I'm just use to only having one keeper on my straps.

See this pic from Jacob straps:

5.0" = 95/65mm 7.0" = 125/80mm
5.25" = 100/65mm 7.25" = 130/80mm
5.5" = 100/70mm 7.5" = 135/80mm
5.75" = 105/70mm 7.75" = 135/85mm
6.0" = 110/70mm 8.0" = 140/85mm
6.25" = 115/70mm 8.25" = 145/85mm
6.5" = 115/75mm 8.5" = 150/90mm
6.75" = 120/75mm 8.75" = 155/90mm

For reference, 7.5" wrist - strap is 130/80, and 4.6mm thick. 3rd hole is sufficiently loose for li'l bit of wiggle room, the way I like it. 4th hole is too snug and too tight. Buckle is perfectly centred at bottom of wrist.

Is the 177L and the 236K Panerai´s the same size?
Can I use my 236 to measure the strap and it will fit the 177?

As I said in your other thread, yes.

Be careful, though, not all straps will fit in a deployant buckle - a lot of them (straps) are too thick. It's usually safest to order strap designed for a deployant, they will be thinner on the free end where the holes are.
