Does anybody have any experience with the 177h rep from watcheden.com? Specifically this one:

http://www.watcheden.com/panerai-lumino ... 24778.html

Im having trouble finding good options. I would love a gen obviously, but that is unrealistic right now. The price for a DSN is also out of my price range especially considering the price of a strap in addition. So Im wondering if anybody has or seen this one. Doesnt look too bad to me although Im wondering if it has an AR coating at all. Thanks.

Excellent question, I hope someone can chime in on this. I don't know a lot about Panerai's but have been really tempted to pick this one up.

Don't know about the answer!
But I bought quite a few watch from Tony, and last month I had to get my 177h from Trevor 'cause Tony wasn't selling it.
I guess it's a really new product, Titanium case were out of production for a while and started to re-appear a few month ago.
Anyway, I haven't seen Tony selling them for at least 6 months.
I would say that the first that gets it from him might be the first able to make the review.
I got mine shipped for 240 $ with swiss eta.

Do you have pictures of your 177H you got from Trevor? What are your impressions?

I wrote all my impression when I got it in the following thread:

viewtopic.php?f=154&t=48864

Trevor is not fast, but he's no dropshipper as well so when he send you pics, it ain't pics of the watch you'll get: it's YOUR watch.

Watch looks good - thanks. Ive requested some info from Trevor already so Im not sure which way I will go yet... Does yours have any AR coating on the sapphire crystal?

Really wish I could hear some impressions on this watcheden one, but could be worth it to order it and if it isnt up to snuff return it I suppose...

Cheers

I am quite curious on this one. I asked Angus about titanium pams and apparently the factory that makes the best pam stopped making the titaniums. I dont want to get it from DVN due to payment complications so if anyone got this from watcheden, please let us know!

The only really awful thing about this one is the swiss under the 6 is just too close.
This one from WatchEden is better but the dial is a little weak, everything else looks good though,

Not bad but not stunning either

If I were you I wouldn't buy from the Twins. Josh and Andrew used to be approuved dealers here at RWI, but they've been banned. Many topics on this: use your 'search' function to find out the whole story.

Well, being that Josh is notorious for having stuff on his website that is no longer available, you might want to double-check that you can still get that watch. I'm betting the answer might be "no".

Honestly, I would go with Davidsen and eat the $20 and the slight inconvenience of going to a Western Union office to send him the money.

He needs to setup VISA PAYMENT option !!! He is cutting out good chunk of the market by not having a website!

that does not discount "the twins" with having good or decent products --- i like tony and his crew at watcheden and all his affiliate sites; let the buyer decide who he/she wants to buy from and address the question and leave the twins situation out. i due to my company fire wall i cannot see the websites :(

the banning of the twins and the subsequent actions of the mods/admins is not the topic of this thread so why crap on it

Many people find that there are a number of stages in the replica hobby. The first is finding out if this whole rep thing is for you by buying your first one. The second is buying a few inexpensive watches to see what you like. The third is often wishing you had not spent the money on the inexpensive watches and bought the best ones you could get. Then you sell the inexpensive watches on the forum and buy the best versions of the watches you really like.

I think the 177 is one of the most appealing pams. It, along with the 111, are the most essential modern pams. So... consider saving up and getting the best one available. Many consider that to be the one from DSN. This is a photo of mine.
