Im thinking of getting a apsf 15500 blue dial and get it fully modded with rep parts. Perhaps by Legend as I have seen some of the work he has done for this particular model. Im trying to figure out how much closer the modding gets to gen

With AP it hard to come close to Gen. Legend does a great work, but you would need gen parts to get even a little closer and these parts are very Expensive.
Beside that this us an expensive watch and the all over appearance off the owner should fit.
My advice: It's a nice rep, take it as what it is and enjoy it. As legend himself says - if you want gen, buy gen.
