Hi guys,

I have a DSN caseset with a PVD finish that I want to use for a 202a build.

How do I "age" the finish? I had read somewhere about a wetsanding process.

Does anyone have any info/tutorial on that? Or any experience with it?

Any sanding will take coating off, Joe, I think. It's quite thin.

I used sandpaper on some of my PVD buckles and works great. You have to be really careful though cause the the sandpaper will eat the PVD coating in no time and there's no going back after the layer is striped. Depending on the desired results I used 400 grit and 2000 grit, I think 2000 is what you want for your build but I ain't no expert so don't take my word for it. I would definitely not recommend starting directly on the case if it's the first time doing it, practice on a buckle or some hidden part.
