Help please, my new B&R 123 Sports has a Miyota 9015 movement with a very noisy rotor. There are no visible screws to undo to take it off.

Can someone please advise how to remove the rotor from this movement.

Thanks in advance

Not so hard to fix. The center part of the rotor is a fake plate, lightly glued on. I was able to remove it with tweezers, this revealed 3 small screws in the centre of the rotor. These are all genuine and after removal of these the rotor lifted off!.

Cleaned it and removed some nasty sharp edges.

Very, very light oil and reattached.

Spinning freely and much less noisy!

Happy camper...........

I really like this watch. Check out my mini review and photos in the Bell & Ross section.

Hi Chris.
I have a similar watch, it is great - but I have a rotor problem too:cry2:
Mine is not noisy, but very slow and not moving freely!

Before i start this i have som questions you can answer, i think ;)
1. When you've reinstalled the rotor, how did you replace the 'center cover-plate'?
2. For the very, very light oil - is it crucial to use a special kind of oil?(could have done research myself, sorry to ask)
3. Any damage occurred? - both mechanical and cosmetic.

Hope you can help me!
Thank you!

Great! Wanted to do the same on the same watch but I was thinking they screwed it in with some fancy tool on the dented large disk around the center of the rotor!
