That one is easy, just press the button that says "push" with a small screwdriver or a pin.
It releases the crown. No risk to break anything with quartz, they're comfortable to handle.

I tried pushing a hole like that on my citizen calibre 8700 to swap from mineral to sapphire crystal. For some reason it didn't release the crown, I also couldn't feel any tension when pressing it in.... any ideas?

I know that some movements have a 'lever' that you slide, instead of push... maybe that helps?

How to get stem out of this quartz Zodiac watch

I want to practice reluming this watch, but can't get the stem out. Anyone have any ideas as to how to get the stem out?

This is what I've tried so far:

1. I first pulled the stem out to the time setting location. Then in the pic you see a circled hole with an arrow. I pushed a pin in this hole and turned the stem clockwise and slightly pulled. No luck.
2. Unscrewed the screw next to this hole, but didn't remove the screw, and tried pulling the stem out. No go.

Anybody have an idea on how to get it out? This is a link to a very similar model watch, the only difference is mine is all pvd:

The hole in the attached photo looks like a stem release to me. I would push the stem all the way in (to what would be the winding position if it were an auto), and try the hole again. Twist the crown back and forth a little while you push a pin into the hole.

Got it! I got it out and put it back in. This was only a test until I get my hand pullers. Now I can get the dial off. I pushed the stem all the way in, then pushed the button(where the arrow is) very softly until I could feel a small movement, then I pulled and twisted the stem until it came out. To put it in, I pushed the button again, and pushed it in and twisted until it caught, then moved back down to position 0. All is well, and thanks for your help!
