How are the 104's?

Does anyone have a 104 out there? I like the silver hands.

Can anyone hook me up with some pics? Please. Debating on one and would love any feedback on it.

The 104's look very nice.....however like all PAM's (except the new ultimate submersible editions) with a cyclops the magnification is weak.

All I have are my gen 104 pics, sweeet watch, best of both worlds IMO, clean marina dial auto/date w/open 6 like the historic line.

All the rep 104's that I have seen have that fuggly date mag and font, otherwise there ok I guess.

I personally would wait until one comes out with that new font/mag that the Ultimate Arktos from Angus has, that's the only date mag/font I have seen that looks close to the real deal.

I really like those silver hands. And I rely too much on a date, now.

Can those silver hands be purchased seperate? Does any dealer have access to those, does anyone know?

I know Davidsen can get the silver hands for the 6497 movement ....not shure about hands for 7750 movement.

I've seen then on ebay before, some guy sells the complete set of hands in all different types (gold, silver, black, blue, etc).

I recently bought Josh's 7750 PAM104. Having only owned gens prior, I am very impressed with it. No, it's not perfect: crown too thin, date font, print at the bottom, weak lume, etc. Bla bla bla. You're getting 85% of the gen for 6% the price. As my first rep, I couldn't believe how stunning the watch is. All things considered, I couldn't be more pleased. What I love about this watch is its amazing versatility. With its polished case and minimalist dial, it dresses up nicely. Given its sheer size and wide strap, also works well casually. All around great watch.

If you want a versatile and sharp looking PAM rep with a date, it's a great rep. If your priority is finding a rep that most closely mimics the gen, get something else.

Totally agree, the way the 104 looks awesome going from the gen croc strap and deployant to a dark grey dirk nubuck strap, or a spartacus torpedo double strap is amazing, looks good with a suit or jeans or shorts with no problems.

I guess that's what I meant by "best of both worlds", awesome watch, I especially like the whooble and crank that keeps you company all day just letting you know it's "there".

Well thats a nice spin on it, I guess you are one of those "half full" type of guys when it comes to reps :lol:
