Hello,

I have been wearing my Breitling Superocean Hertiage Chrono Rep for about 7 weeks now and the watch has been running fine. Today, I wore it again for about half a day and when I got home, I put it back in my watch box. In the evening, I went back to discover that my watch lost a considerably amount of time after having just wore the watch for half a day. Now, the hour mark does not even line up to the hour anymore.

For example, at 12:00, the hour mark is at the 58 minute while the minute hand is at 60 minutes.

Also, the date change is now at 7:00 as opposed to 12:00. Refer to video:

What has gone wrong with the watch and do I need to send it back? Can I get it corrected and aligned again?

Thanks!

No problem to fix it, bring it to a watchsmith, he needs to remove the hands and allign them back straight. This will also take care of the date problem. Looks like the hour hand is slippy. Glue could help to fix it.

Yep - hour hand slipped and will most likely continue to slip. It's not worth sending it back - a pretty easy and relatively inexpensive fix at a local watchsmith. Just tell them it was a gift and you know it's a rep, but that you really like the watch and would like to get it fixed.
