@oceaon Took it upon himself to take a personal matter between ourselves, a simple transaction dispute and turn it into a public spectacle. Childish, but it is what it is. The fact that he took time out of his day, to write up a whole review about me as a buyer is laughable to say the least. especially for this transaction of 1200$. Especially since you dropped the ball on this specific transaction as a seller. I guess I hurt his ego.
Sale in question. To date , neither do I have the watch, nor do I have my money.
[PENDING] - Brand New Custom 116519 Meteorite build with Clean base. Must See
Now we will address his public spectacle , and I will warn members to deal with this user with caution as he does not show basic decency as a seller! It seems like when things do not work out, this is how he reacts.
If you are a seller, you are responsible to ensure the package arrives to your buyer. No matter what your own self made 'sales terms " dictate. This is the standard I keep and will do for my buyers, and I expect the same for you. This same thing is written in the RWI Sales rules which I will reference in this thread. Remember it only takes one negative sale, to show ones true colors.
Because he decided to make our personal issue / conversation public. This is the answer to his thread he decided to make about me. His claims from his thread about me will be in quotations and Italic , mine will be underlined, and in BOLD.
His thread.
As per @oceaon
" On this sale, @Prizon purchased a Met Dial build from me a few weeks ago and wanted me to ship the build through FedEx in two-day shipping. I told him I didn't have an account with FedEx and that it wasn't a great idea. But that is what we did anyway, as he requested. Of course, I know how to fill out a declaration form, as I have done so many times. I don't have a copy of the declaration as I didn't get an email from FedEx, as I purchased the $158 shipping as a one-off. I usually use USPS, which holds all of my past invoices, declarations, etc. on my account. Even shipping overseas to the UK, Germany, Europe, Asia, etc., usually isn't a problem. "
This is correct. This transaction began as an everyday , low value trade between myself, and @oceaon . Someone I respected as another reputable and respected member on the forum. However let keep to the facts.
I requested FEDEX shipping as I have used it plenty of times in the past without issues, for watches of even 50x the value. How can you predict issues with FEDEX before even shipping the package? Or are you not knowledgeable on how to ship with FEDEX?
I did not force you to take this request, nor did I force you to take my money. Please do not complain about using fedex now that we are having issues with customs. Once the customs issue presented itself, I simply requested @oceaon to provide me with the customs paperwork, so I can begin my own diligence with fedex. Also to make sure he filled out all the paperwork correct. I have not received this information to date. I do not even know what he declared it as.
If you do not have the ability to fill out the paperwork correct, which I believe is the real issue , we wouldn't be in this position today. The fact that he cannot produce this paperwork further proves my point.
Where is the customs paperwork? I have asked you about it plenty of times!!
" This package got to Canadian Customs, and they opened the box but didn't want to release it, even after the buyer paid taxes on it. I have been on the phone four or five times with agents, customs, etc, trying to help the buyer get his watch over the past couple of weeks. Finally, I got word today that they would be willing to ship it back to me if I gave them a credit card. I gave the payment info so it could be sent back to me. I didn't ask if the buyer wanted me to do that - I just did it on my own accord. I have reached out to @Prizon many times and tried to be as helpful as possible about this entire situation, and I am taking the time to do so. After all, in my sales posts, I state that it's the buyer's responsibility, and I don't have control once it leaves my hands. Regardless, I am trying to be helpful. I understand it can be frustrating, but it's not my fault. "
I never once blamed you for anything, in fact we were working together in order to solve the issue.
Your statements are INCORRECT and FALSE, let us be CLEAR ABOUT THE FACTS, I ASKED you to reach out to FEDEX and REQUEST A RETURN TO SENDER. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE FACTS CLEARLY WRITTEN VIA PMS BETWEEN US. I can forward each and every message if needed. Everything is written, our entire private interaction. Please do not try to change the narrative for your benefit. I had to reach out and ask you for help each step of the way. You did not do anything "out of good will or goodness of your heart".
Let me stress. You "Helping" me out on this customs issue is no favor to me, but YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as an honest seller. I would do the same for my buyers also. Please do not tell me that making phone calls etc is anything out of the ordinary.
I felt like the transaction was still good until today. After today's update, he tells me that he wants to cut his losses and wants me to take the watch back, and give him a refund.
WRONG, And INCORRECT ONCE AGAIN!
Maybe it was the way you interpreted my DM. I simply requested, that due to the time it has taken and stress with customs if ONCE YOU RECEIVE THE WATCH BACK, that we can cancel this transaction. I said any shipping cost (My initial cost of 160$) and the amount you paid today to return the package to yourself I will TAKE AS A LOSS. How is that not fair? It was not a DEMAND, IT WAS A REQUEST.
Once again all my claims can be clearly proven with black and white statements written in DM on here between me and the seller.
You refused, so I said fine, then at the minimum please cover the reshipment cost to me. As you failed to present me with any customs paperwork etc, so I couldn't even attempt to call Fedex on my end, because I don't even know how you declared the item as. Make sense???
" I clearly state in my sales posts that I am not Amazon,
I took it upon myself today to pay for the item to return to the States in the hope that I could reship it when we finally get it back with another service like USPS. His tone suddenly changed, and he then told me I was responsible for his package and that I needed to ship it to him at my cost once it got back. He, of course, offered to pay me for getting it back to the US if I agreed to refund him. I stated that was not how this would work, and he continually told me that it was my responsibility as a seller to get him the watch at my cost or refund him. "
AS PER RWI RULES, Your Self created TERMS OF SALE Means ABSOLUTELY nothing.
I will quote the RWI Rules to remind you.
12) Sales disclaimers: Although heavily used around the forum please note sales disclaimers are not valid and not held in any regard by the staff at RWI. Rule 1. part E) takes precedence over any disclaimer. See section 3 here https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...arch-30th-2016 See also https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...s-on-m2m-sales
SECTION 3
(Section 3 “AFTER THE SALE AND DISCLAIMERS”)
1. Disclaimers are invalid. You can use them if you wish, they mean nothing to staff if your buyer files a helpdesk ticket because they got a watch not as described or broken and you do nothing to help your buyer.
2. Prepare to take care of your own after sales issues. These may include paying for repair from a broken balance in transit, clutched out crown, indices that fell off.. ect.
3. The staff, will at their discretion, put both the buyer and seller on a “No Sale” at any time when a help desk ticket issued. It doesn’t matter who initiated the compliant, both may be temporarily locked out from buying or selling until they resolve their sale. Any open sales will be locked, nuked or hidden.
BY POSTING YOUR WATCH FOR SALE, YOU AUTOMATICALLY AGREE TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE ABOVE.
As per @oceaon
"Here is what I am NOT going to do. I am not going to help someone and go out of my way to assist and spend my time helping only for you to try and insult me and give me an attitude and tone as if I owe you something. Then you have the audacity to say "You have made it clear what kind of seller you are. I will never do business with you again, nor will I advise anyone else to."
First off buddy, I never asked you to "go out of your way to help me" all I asked for is BASIC SELLER SUPPORT Which is expected of all RWI Sellers
Here is the issue. Your ego was hurt, so you had to make a simple issue that we were dealing with behind close doors, a public spectacle. The fact is I never demanded anything crazy from you, so I do not understand the magnitude of your reaction. All I asked from you was to do as any good seller does on RWI.
TAKE. RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PACKAGE AS THE SENDER. THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PACKAGE DOES NOT END ONCE YOU HAVE DROPPED IT OFF. THE SAME IS WRITTEN IN THE RWI SALES RULES SECTION! YOU CANNOT SIMPLY WASH YOUR HANDS OFF AT THIS POINT JUST BECAUSE YOU CREATED YOUR OWN SALES TERMS.
I stand on my statement and would advise all members to deal with @oceaon with caution just based on his childish reaction to this situation alone.
"I am not sure if someone spit in your cornflakes this morning or you had a bad day, but I am not your doormat. Again, I understand you got frustrated at the situation but I will let you deal with the mods going forward."
To this date, Feb 27th, neither do I have your watch, nor do I have my money back. It is your responsibility to come up with an amicable solution. The ball is in your court now.
I told @oceaon all of this VIA PM, but yet here we are.
