Horrible pics of my beautiful new baby (28A)

Nice to b back on RWI after a long abscence. I've had this 28A in a drawer disassembled for the better part of a year. I bought a gen right around the same time I got this back from having gen PVD applied, so I never felt rushed to get it up and running. Rolli supplied the PVD service (which included leaching the old fake PVD coloring off) and some additional parts. So big thanks to him! Before I purchased this piece, the previous owner had already had some significant mods done including the date wheel and cyclops. In addition to the PVD, I've since added a new crown and purchased a gen buckle, which rolli coated for me as well. I couldn't be more pleased with the way this piece turned out.

I apologize for the crappy pictures, but I was so excited at how this turned out I wanted to share what I could. FYI, the crystal is actually in perfect condition, any blemishes are due to my impromptu photography. I'm going to dress it up with a nice Simona croc that I have lying around somewhere and then take some real pics to share later. In the meantime, please indulge me as I welcome my new baby into the family!

You know, I honestly don't remember. It doesn't have any markings on it and I can't recall who I boought it from. I know I paid less than $100 for it. The thread was beige until I experimented on it with a Sharpie earlier today. It's a nice piece of leather though and I've always been kinda partial to the wide single keeper.

What kind of strap is that?

Daytona, I went back through my emails and figured out where that strap came from. It's an HKTAN one of a kind, made from an old Italian wallet. I bought it from V in 2007.

Hey, did I do that to your pics? They were loading fine last night, I thought, but I can't get them to load anymore now either. Can anyone else still see them? (guess it's good that you added the disclaimer at the beginning that these were horrible pics, but admittedly they were better than this before)

Oh good. It looks like the dinner plate sized photos are loading again too. But yes, feel free to post realistic sized photos as well. I'll try my best to keep my mitts off them!
