This is a follow-up on my much earlier post of my first ordering from Steve of The Onewatches. Well since my first order of multiple watches went so smoothly, I immediately put in a second order, while part of the first was still being shipped.
I can say communication with Steve throughout the whole process was excellent, and he can acquire most watches very quickly. I did opt for the cleaning and lubrication service he offered, since it was discounted to $10.00 per watch at the time. I cannot state what cleaning and lubrication was done, I can only hope it is occurring. That typically delays the processing of the order by about 5 days. It took only a few days after payment to receive the QC images, and any concerns I may have had/noticed, were quickly resolved with additional imagery. Also, he will price match, so do not be dissuaded if he has a watch listed at a slightly higher price than another site.
All watches were shipped quickly and arrived in perfect shape. I would recommend that you tell him what size watch band to order, since my IWC’s with deployment claps come much too short, having the clasp close to the edge of my wrist. This is also true for the typical leather straps, much too short.
I am not concerned, since I always change the rep bands for one made by ZicZac. I never mentioned this to him since the New Year was coming up, but hopefully I can get some longer sections sent to me.
Again, I never mentioned my wrist size, so it is not a negative on his side.
I feel comfortable to highly recommending his services, since he came through for me on quire several watches. Also, initially he was not able to find a JLC Thin Moon watch for me, the factory was out of stock. As part of my second order, he was able to find me one from another dealer. Thanks, you for that one.
P.S. Steve, When your back from New Year, remember the IWC and Tag deployment clasps that I need. Get in touch with me when your back from Holiday. Happy New Year!
