Hi all,

Let me first say that I have used the search function on the main forum and on the Tudor section, neither of which returned results for what I'm looking for, so please only contribute to this thread of you're being helpful and supportive of this search.
I'm looking to purchase a Tudor Submariner replica, not that picky on the reference, just looking for the highest quality possible. However, if I could choose then I'd be looking for the:
  • 79000 series - latest generation
    • 79090
    • 79190
    • 79190 (silver bezel)
  • Snowflake
I've seen that inTime do sell the vintage replicas here, but seeking advice from our knowledgable members if these are the highest quality available or if there are other options out there?

Many thanks,

Evoss

If you do a search on RWI. just search YODOG. he also may have a current sales post going. I know he has old ones you can find and msg him off that. His builds are higher dollar but they are well worth it and gen spec.. ive included a pic of the 9401 snowflake he built me...

Yodog's builds usually end up with some gen parts on them. They are far from what you would get at a TD. I would expect to pay between $1,000 and $1,500 for a decent franken, more if things like the dial and hands are gen. Kilo has one for sale right now that is a vietnam base and it is 900 euros I think.

If you are asking which factory has the best sub out of the box, the answer is probably one of the Vietnam makers, but those get up there in price really easily. One popular method is to order a cartel vintage piece and mod it, with those going for around $150 or so depending on the movement.
