hi there,

I can't seem to wind it clockwise, as it feels v tight.

Is the Asian movement an anti-clockwise for winding?

can someone help me, please?

the watch, I have unlocked the lever... and I can't seem to wind it clockwise, as there's alot of resistance...

do I pull the crown to wind?

There seems only to be one position when the crown is pulled, of which, when done... it is meant for adjusting the time.

can anyone help, please?

thanks.

You go clockwise. If you cannot wind because of resistance, then it's fully wound.

it seems fully wound, but the seconds-hand is not working... nor is the back of the watch working.

How did this stop working? Did you wind it past the resistance point? Or did it just suddenly stop? Did you open the case back?

I didn't wind it clockwise, because it seems v hard to do so.

I didn't open the caseback.

Have you given it a swirl to see if it starts?

My PAM111 had the same issue after about 6 months of working.

I sent it off to Vac for a Full servicing, and now it works flawlessly with 58hrs Power Reserve.

I am not sure what exactly was wrong, but Vac mentioned issues with the mainspring.

I think if it's tight, then it shouldn't be put under more force to attempt to wind it. Things break that way.

I had one just delivered the other day that did this. Give it a average hit against your palm and see if that works. If the seconds hand sweeps a bit and then stops it needs to go back to where it came or go for service as something is either loose or broken.

hi there,

thanks for your tip... let me try it.

I am v sure that I didn't harm the watch, as I did not use any force to wind the watch clockwise, as it felt v v v tight.

I wind it anti-clockwise 2 twice, as I thought perhaps the seagull movement goes the opposite direction.

hope I can get good news from your suggestion... the panerai PAM111 noob v3 is a beauty to behold... I understand why so many people are smitten by it.
