Hi, new member from New York

Hi all, am very new to this world. I managed to get to middle age never thinking it was for me until I held anod wore a Calatrava being presented to my dad at an awards dinner, and just fell in love instantly. Originally thought I’d research a replica to help preserve his original when it passes to me, and then my son, but swiftly realized I’d found a new obsession. Found this board and have really come to appreciate the generosity and patience of long-time members who can remember their own Noob days. I’ll try to reciprocate that by scouring forum to see where answers already exist, before I shoot my mouth off with redundant questions, and I‘ll take responsibility for my own due diligence and having reasonable and polite expectations when I deal with other members and TD’s. On that note, hoping to post up my experiences with a couple of TD’s I found here soon.
