Hey everyone, glad to have come across a site where I feel like I can trust people. If I had not come across this site, I probably would have been a victim of a scam from ebay or one of the many websites. I been reading for over a week now in this forum, getting used to the feel of things, and I think I am ready to make my first purchase soon. I had a few questions and was hoping if anyone would be kind enough to answer them. I am sure questions have been asked before, and I apologize for asking them again.

1. I know the dealers on this site are all reliable, but is there is any that set them apart from the others?

2. I noticed a lot of the watches from the different dealers look pretty much the same, or have the same specs, are the basic quality the same? What I mean is, is the source of the watches the dealers get the same.

3. I had a old TAG replica from the streets of NY almost 10 years ago, and it lasted me 3 years. Ever since then I fell in love with TAGs. I like the LINK series, the MONACO, and the CARRERA. Have anyone here bought any TAGS, if so can you share you experience, or email me some pics. Oh and I like the OMEGA, with the orange bezel.

Well I think I have more questions, but I will save them for later. Thanks to everyone, in advance, for sharing your thoughts and replying.

Glad you made it to the Darkside.

#1 There is no way I'm going to answer that in open forum and risk stepping on a dealers toes........ I use and rely on several dealers. Spend some time in the dealer review section and make up your own mind on who fits you comfort level. There is a saying here. Choose your dealer first then choose your watch..... Or something like that..... :D

#2 Not all dealers get their watches from the same source. This will take you a little time to spot the differences. Kind of like an watch version of "where's Waldo"...... Some dealers use the same source. Read peoples reviews and comparisons and you will start to get a grasp on what to look for. The differences will be very small.......

#3 I don't believe anyone has ever bought a TAG.....    They are great watches and usually have exceptional bracelets.... Several nice "Link" versions right now.. Believe the Gray / Mushroom colored dial is most popular right now....subject to change though...hehehe had to cover my ass a little...

Kind of like being back in school except you really enjoy the subject and don't mind studying.

Hope something I put here helped.....

Thanks guys for replying. Yeah it seems TAGs aren't the popular replicas. I wonder if the quality will also be lacking because its not that popular, compared to other replicas. I might venture into other brands sooner or later, once I make my first purchase. This watch buying seems to be addictive, getting quality watches for cheap, I hope I don't get carried away. :D

Hi mricky! Welcome to the Dark Side. I believe you won't be disappointed with current Tag Link replica. Here's mine from Ruby:

I still recall my first rep... it was hard waiting for it.

May be once u choose ur dealer. U should ask whether they have
the watch u want in stock. If not how long it would take to get the
swatch.

This way, u know approx. how long u will have to wait before getting the
watch as well....

As I patiently waited for my first watch....

U will know why I mention this once u have paid ur money and waiting
for ur watch,

Its been a few weeks since I first came to this forum, and I have already bought my first rep and received it last week. I was initially goin for the Tag, but when I saw the Omega PO chrono, I had to have it. I bought it from Andrew, and it couldn't be easier. Overall the watch was breathtaking, its a stunning watch in person.

And you all are right, its like crack, you can't stop looking for the next fix. I've already decided I want another watch, and it hasn't even been a week since I got this Omega.

I'll be posting a review and pics soon of this Omega, so stay tuned...

Welcome Ricky,

We are going to have to start up another link on this site for the real junkies, maybe RR, 'Rep Rehab'. We could go in there and get counselling from recovered addicts and talk through some of our rep issues and what not.

I think it might be a good idea ;)
