I have been lurking around here for about 18 months, learning how to build my first 2 watches.
both my builds were bubble and pressure tested to 60m using a waterproof tester


First Build 5513

5513 Ruby case, back, crown and tube
Helen Dial
mix match hands from ebay and various suppliers
lumed hands and dial with old radium superluminova
SOPROD newton (originally eta 2428-2) removed the date wheel and no dial spacer used.
vintage watch mods bezel assembly and gray bezel insert (the bezel turns smoothly by pressing down)

ISO strap


Second Build 5517

5513 Ruby case, bezel insert, crown and tube
(did not use a fixed bar 5517 case because I am in the water 6-15 hours a week. the nylon strap does not dry quickly and causes skin issues)

this is my next steps, is learning what a 50 year old case looks and feels like then modding the case
