Hi everyone, so, ive just finished reading through the noob guide, ive got about 15 AAA "grade" watches and now want to dip my toe into the superclones out there, thanks to you I wont be sending money to random folks on the internet, which I was very close to doing until i found you guys.

So, first purchase is going to be a DayDate and I can now do it with confidence.

Judging by your use of the terms "AAA grade" and "superclones", I'd still suggest to post here first what you intend to do with your purchase (where, how, when, why, who etc.) BEFORE you do it so we can see if you are on the right track.

I sort of expected someone to pick me up on my terminology due to the fact of what it says in the noob guide
old habits die hard, im getting old but i like your idea.

Let me start with this: If you pick a TD and you are ready to initiate your purchase, and this is VERY important, do not slip up and think you can look them up on Google. Instead, return here and look up any contact info on RWI only. There's almost a 100% chance you will pick up scammer contact info via Google!

As to which DJ model to chose I'm not entirely sure as I have absolutely no experience with Datejusts. If I'm not mistaken, CF makes the one that most people want, but don't quote me on that. I don't know whether any of the factories you posted are desired atm or not. I'm sure others with more knowledge about DJs than me will chime in soon...

Hi and welcome to RWI!
First off, follow @eBoy 's advice and heed the sticky threads (all of them) in the New Members area.
Regarding your query, you can do a bit of research, I like to use google for that, typing e.g. "Daydate site:forum.replica-watch.info", or iterations thereof.
Now, the daydate isn't repped at the same quality as a datejust, unfortunately, still there's some pretty decent pieces out there. I haven't researched daydates very extensively so far, what I can tell you is that BP and GMF are - respectively - medium to medium high tier factories when it comes to Rolex replicas. APSF does good APs, but I rarely see it mentioned in the rolex section. My first rep was a BP, so I think it is an OK choice. I would take a GMF, too. What you can do is a bit of reseacrh on the movement; both watches have basically an eta 2836 clone (the Asian 3255 being just decorated to look like a rolex one). Then you put all your findings on a scale: finishing, shape, dial quality, movement reliability/quality, price.

I agree this is the public opinion on daydates. It still depends on your tolerances and "philosphy" on wearing watches. I am easy to please and still think my BP OP 36mm is a wonderful rep. On the other hand, not much you can do wrong with a simple 3-hander...

Ive gone for the a3255 mod DD Silver/Blue dial from trusty time TD on here, its my first higher quality rep and going to be my daily wear so we shall see. Thanks for everyones input, link below
