Not big news to you? Well, I'm thrilled, anyway.

So here's my question: Talking to 2 different people on 2 separate occasions today, and one of them pronounced the name of my watch as "Tag Hewer", and the other one pronounced it as "Tag Hoyer", and it struck me - How DO you pronounce "Heuer"?

I await enlightenment.

BTW, I pronounce the name of my watch..."TAG".

Yup, I'm a chicken.

It's pronounced Rolex as in "My spaghetti went bonkers over some wings that were too salty" or something along those lines.

So is that pronounced "I dropped my watch in the river Crna?", "Watch Idiot Savant Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist." or "WIS genes derived through standard synthesis?"

Betting on the middle one....

You lot are sooooooo helpfull :D
It's pronounced Hoyer. Rolex is another one we all pronounce wrong. It's actually Ro-lex rather than the Roll-ex we all use. Then again, no one pronounces Porsche correctly either. :)

Yes... Yes... it is pronounced "Hoyer" except it's more like 'HO ee Yur' and not "Ho yer dead if you didn't make me $5000 today..."
