Thinking about pulling the trigger on a black bay bronze (brown version) and after lirs of research through different threads I came to the conclusion that the V6F v3 is currently the closest to Gen. But then tonight I came upon this on TrustyTime website:

http://www.ttw-1388.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=228&products_id=17665

Looks like a v4 has just been released? Does anyone know about this and could the improvements be compared to v3?

I wasnt aware V6 even released a v3. I have the v2 with alu-bronze, not sure what else they could do to perfect it.

That was exactly my point, with the release of a new version there are actually more chances to mess-up something already good than improve anything...

They can improve on the dial paint. The gen pops. The rep looks dull and fades into the brown.

Agreed. The rep is still way off on the dial and lacks the pop of the gen. Rep looks very flat.

After re-reading all relevant threads I think I would opt for ZF v2 as dial print is way crisper than V6/KW. Bezel on ZF is slightly more reddish but I can live with that.\
