Heritage Black Bay 2017 SS/YGold any opinions?

Hello friends of Rwi, I'm willing to pull the trigger on the ZF version of the Black Bay stainless steel/yellow gold but I'm new to Tudor brand.
I was searching for info or reviews but seems like there aren't for this replica.
Do you have any advice on witch flaws to look after on this model, or the black bay in general?

I'm not an expert in the least, but from what I'm hearing is stay away from any gold watches because the gold will just be thinly plated over the steel.

Purchased one of these awhile back.
Not expert on comparing with gen but it looks nice enough.
If I had to be picky, it seems that the plated gold on the crown is a bit on the thin side.
ZF black bays are solid daily beater watches. Durable and easy to service.

The gen isn't plated. The gold on the end links is solid and the gold on the crown and bracelet links is wrapped.

post #90, the goldplating on the links looks to be quiet thick.

Hi, what about the date, I've heard the the date is not centered in the window can you confirm that? And what do you think of the pearl? Is it centered? Maybe you can post close up pics from the date window and the pearl. Overall the watch looks very good I am planning to buy one too. Still a little bit unsure because of the points I mentioned.

Anyway I'm almost ready to order one also, even if there are some obvious small flaws the overall looks really well made!

Mine arrived today. Overall it's not bad for the price.

The bad points for me are:
1. Bezel wasn't aligned
2. Dial wasn't aligned
3. Crown looks like it's made from brass

good points
1. after 8 hours it's running at +1 second
2. date wheel is perfect
3. case and crystal are great quality

I'm not sure how close the gold colour of the centre links is to the Gen but I will try to compare them side by side next time I'm near an AD.

I'll post some more pics tomorrow.

Here's some more pics.

Some more negative points that I noticed, the fold over part of the clasp doesn't sit flush when closed and the SEL fitment is total sh*t. The bottom end link rocks backwards and forwards. Really awful quality.

Antoni1994 I would avoid gold in general for reps because of any scratches or dinks may scratch off the plating

Hi, I have the ZF arriving today actually, I got it boxed and delivered at a great price so I'm not expecting an earth shattering likeness. But I'll happily post pictures if you'd like this post revived.
