Nice Tempest.
They all seem to be in the same price range, $700-800.
Gens under a grand!

I have the Blackbeard and love it. Helson are a little pricy but they have amazing customer service. It's nice to have a limited watch with a serial number if 167.

Amazing Lume. As good a conversation starter as a Franck Muller Crazy Hours. Just a different type of person will inquire about the watch.

thats what I figured. Just for me if I'm spending $500 or more on a watch I usually expect an ETA or another Swiss equivalent

The Miyota 9015 was made to be an ETA 2824-2 killer. They are an excellent movement but I only have the one. I do have a time graph though and it shows it off nicely.

If and when the Seiko Spring auto looses it's patent it will surely replace almost every Swiss movement as the accuracy for an automatic doesn't get any better.
