Hi,
today we realized the crystal (plexi) from our ZF448 is missing. No broken pieces, no nothing, "missed in action". So strange !!!. Should had been fallen/jump off in the street last time we used it. No hits, no airplane tralvels, nothing that may have caused the crystal to drop off.
I asked my TD if he can source one, and he answer was positive, although It will take some time.

Once I receive the new plexy...

How should I stick/secure the glass into the watch case, just pressure, glue (what kind) ???
Thnaks in advance!.

Its a front loader meaning the bezel is gone too? or no? The bezel being presses on is what keeps the crystal in place.

Yep the crystal is force fitted. No glue from what I've read.

Good question. I would say there are no other pieces missing apart from the glass. I only asked my TD for the plexy.
It´s so strange, I would like that not happen again, so,
may be is better to add a piece of some kind of glue when I receive the new plexy?

However, have a look please, this is how the watch is now.... Thanks so much...

I have the same watch. Remove the bezel, press the plexi on the bezel and than press the bezel with the plexi to the case. That's it.
Everything is just pressed, no glue

But there must be a white nylon gasket between the plexi and the bezel.
Is the gasket still at your watch?

Thanks so much for the info regarding the white nylon gasket.
There is no evidence of the nylon gasket, neither.
Glass + Gasket just evaporated, jumped off the wach !!!
I guess I must ask my TD for a white nylon gasket, too. Otherwise I won´t be able to secure the new plexy.
Thanks again for the info.

I think I see the gasket inside your bezel.
It's the white plastic ring placed on the upper part of the inner bezel.

YOU-ARE-RIGHT @kilowattore :applause:, after closer inspection, that damn nylon gasket is still there, in place.
So problem "solved" (at least in theory), since my TD is sourcing for us a new plexy.
If TD success sourcing a new plexy, once received, we´ll just install it by pressure as @Strodda @mysterio and @chris3007 stated.

Thanks so much to all of you!. :star:

I guess, the plexy should have just broken in two pieces, unnoticed, and then fall off the case. Otherwise it sounds impossible to loose the plexy without notice it.
